Argenina is one of the oldest villages in the town of Monti. Around the inhabited center, now completely restored, the company owns three hectares of recently renovated vineyards. The land is located at 310 meters above sea level, with a radial exposure that goes from south-east to south-west.
The wines that are born in these lands are characterized by a great pleasantness, harmony, freshness of fruit and floral aromas, also thanks to the excellent selected clones of the new plants.
To enhance these characteristics, the grapes are fermented in steel vats at a lower temperature than in Pieve and Grosso Sanese, in order to preserve the intensity of the primary aromas of the grapes; the refinement takes place in small oak barrels. The production is around 25,000 bottles.
