For years now, the classic international vines of the Bordeaux blend have found a perfect setting in Bolgheri, and the Piccini family's "Gattabuia" is the perfect example of this.
Produced in Tenuta Moraia, it is a Rosso di Bolgheri resulting from an aging carried out for one year in oak barrels. Substantial and material, but on the other hand also soft and elegant, it is a Red that you never get tired of, capable of giving very pleasant sensations. Choose it to pair mixed grilled meat, and life will smile at you as it has done a few other times until now.
It offers a beautiful intense ruby red in the glass. Notes of ripe red fruit open the entrance to the nose, which then also perceives hints of licorice, coffee and vanilla. Herbaceous and mineral nuances complete the olfactory picture. The palate continues on the path taken by the nose, revealing itself to be soft, fruity and rightly tannic. Good length.
