The Chianti Classico DOCG “Ama” was produced for the first time with the 2010 harvest, and is obtained with grapes deriving from new Sangiovese clones. It ferments with indigenous yeasts only and ages in barrique for at least 12 months.
Deep ruby red. On the nose it is elegant, with notes of ripe red fruits and berries, accompanied by spicy nuances. It is harmonious, fresh and balanced in tasting, with a long persistence that confirms the aromas perceived on the nose.
It goes very well with meat-based second courses from the land cuisine. Try it with English roast beef.
