Tasting:
60% aged in Nomblot concrete egg, 22% in porcelain amphora and 18% in Mittelberger oak.
Lustrous mid ruby. Very unusual almost exotic red-fruit nose and very minerally, which seems to have been amplified by the egg. Reminds me a little of Poggerino’s concrete-egg Chianti Classico. Liquorice hints, too. Succulent, unpolished cherry fruit and with stalky rustic tannins. A delight.
Alcohol: 13.5%
