Tasting: 100% Sangiovese aged in 25% Clayver ceramic vessel, 25% Stockinger 5- hl oak cask, 30% Mittelberger oak cask, and 20% porcelain egg. Bottled July 2019. Lustrous mid ruby with orange tinges. Same amplified mìnerality as the non-reserva 2016 Chianti Classico, and almost a little saline “with sweet cherry underneath. High-pitched acidity on fragrant, spicy
sour-cherry fruit with bags of stalky tannins. Supple and with a medium, rather than a full-bodied weight to it. Slightly drying on the fìnish, but the tannins give anice grating feel to the fruit.
Alcohol: 13.5%
