“100% Nerello Mascalese fermented in stainless steel and aged in Clayver (oblong-shaped ceramic vessel) and ceramic amphora (made by Sino)for five months on its lees. Aged at Tenuta di Aglaea in Solicchiata on Etna’s north side.”
Pale salmon. Cool, attractive nose of strawberry with hints of quince and garden herbs. Citric strawberry-fruit palate with a stony, cool finish. Really refreshing and viscous, much more so than its 12.5% would suggest.
