The Chianti Classico Riserva Lamole di Lamole comes to life from the Il Prato and Le Masse vineyards of the Lamole area, from plants between 6 and 74 years of age that grow on marl soils rich in schist and sandstone.
The harvest of Sangiovese and Canaiolo Nero grapes takes place in October. Fermentation takes place in steel with a maceration of 16 days. The wine remains to refine for 6 months in steel and then for another 26 months in large barrels, a period that is worth the mention of Riserva to the wine.
Its color is intense ruby red. The nose is characterized by a wide but measured bouquet, austere and refined at the same time, in which intense and fresh plum aromas are crossed by light floral tones of violet, undergrowth and minerals. On the palate it is dense and full-bodied, animated by mineral references.
In addition to traditional Florentine red meats, steak and rotisserie, it goes very well with lamb, braised meats but also with truffle-based recipes.
