From carefully selected grapes in the most suitable areas of the appellation, Querciabella Chianti Classico redefines Sangiovese in a brilliant, precise way and with great depth of expression.

Querciabella has started to become one of the most innovative realities in Tuscany. In fact, since 2000, the biodynamic trend that the company approaches, has decreased and then eliminated any product that any use of products of animal origin during the management phases in the vineyard and wine production. The common thread that connects the company is not to upset the natural life path of the plant and the ecosystem that gravitates around it. The company is located between the Chianti Classico and the wild Maremma, with a total of 106 hectares of vineyards: the largest extension of organic vineyards in Italy.

The Chianti Classico di Querciabella is a Sangiovese vinified in purity: here the most widespread red berried grape in Italy, knows how to express its best, and knows how to give different shades depending on the municipality in which it is vinified. Greve, Radda and Gaiole in Chianti are the 3 production municipalities: once the grapes are hand-picked, they are crushed, destemmed and maceration takes place for two weeks between oak and steel. The maturation lasts 14 months and rests 3 months in the bottle before being marketed. The Sangiovese di Querciabella is a red wine with soft violet reflections, it smells of currant, cloves and rose petals, with a crunchy and lively sip. Energetic, like the soils of Radda, fresh, like the nuances of Greve and with a good minerality thanks to the galestri of Gaiole. A perfect red with meat dishes or the classic tomato soup, to play at home, excellent as an every-day wine.
