6.38 are the hectares of the vineyard - planted in 1998 - from which the homonymous wine "6.38", Chianti Classico Gran Selezione produced by the Piccini family on the Valiano estate comes to life. Elegant and refined, both in the aromas and in the nose, it is at the same time capable of giving so much substance and character, proving never predictable and never banal.
Left to age for a year in oak barrels, it is a Chianti Classico that speaks the language of the best excellence that can be encountered in the territory. Bring it to the table along with a nice pork steak, and it will repay you in a big way for the trust you want to place in it.
Ruby red color, compact and intense. The nose is rich in ripe red fruit, such as cherry, black cherry and plum, then complemented by notes of sweet spices and balsamic tones. The mouth is full-bodied and well balanced between tannins and freshness. Long persistence and spicy like the nose the closure.
