The hotel is surrounded by its 7 hectares of Chianti Classico Gallo Nero vineyards, 3 hectares of olive grove and 2 hectares of seed crops and woods. At an altitude of 450 metres above sea level, in soils consisting of “Galestro” marl and “Alberese” limestone, the grape varieties cultivated are mainly Sangiovese and complementary varieties like Canaiolo, Cabernet Sauvignon, Trebbiano and Malvasia; an excellent Extra Virgin Olive Oil is produced from approximately 300 olive trees.
